The Fulton ARC, in conjunction with Oswego County RACES, will participate in the ARRL Field Day event, held this year on the weekend of June 23-24.
We will once again operate from historic Fort Ontario in Oswego, NY, for which privilege we are grateful. We will be a one transmitter club entry (class 1A, callsign W2CXV) and will endeavor to be in continuous operation from 2 pm (local) on Saturday to 2 pm on Sunday. It will be a completely portable operation, using portable generators and no preexisting radio infrastructure. We plan to operate using SSB, CW and Digital modes.

The Fulton Amateur Radio Club, W2CXV, will be on the air in this year’s
ARRL Field Day (Amateur Radio Emergency Exercise). It is the
largest such exercise in the country, with as many as 35,000
ham radio operators participating in the USA, Canada and beyond.
Skywarn Training: To keep up to date, training required at least every two years. As we did not have a training session in 2012, this training is necessary for members to keep current and update our Storm Ready status for the County and with the NWS . This is also our Open House, so bring a friend or a spouse.
