  1. Education (Redd) education report read, tech class being built by Redd, for fall, September, 9 weeks learning, 10th week test

  2. Emergency Communications/RACES (Mike) not present

  3. Public Relations: admin help with RACES or events, harborfest July 26, reindeer run December, 2weeks ahead of time emails send out asking about volunteer help for events, went on to discuss what volunteering entails, pairing up with experience

REDD describe history, intent, prove capability, make something out of nothing, exercise in field

DAVE also elaborate further on field days

Club trailer to go to fort Ontario, good spot high elevation and flat

Field day set up logistics and rules explained by REDD

FRED brought up the skill to operate with many contacts jumping in and on nets like a real emergency

REDD when no infrastructure HAMS always communicate and can on behalf of local civil services

Good example nine-eleven…HAMS stepped in

FRED brought up most recent disasters in N.C. talking about mountain top HAM operators communicating to valley

L.G. explore and map lake Ontario floor, named wildlife sanctuary, preservation of history(shipwrecks), remote controlled ROV, takes pics, can 3-d print scans of lake bottom
